公示语是现代化城市、国际化旅游城市语言及人文环境的重要构成。公示语的任何歧义、误解、滥用都会导致不良的社会影响。本文针对目前新乡市区主要旅游景点和公共场所英语公示语方面存在的问题,调查了新乡市区主要旅游景点和公共场所英语公示语情况,通过对调查结果的数据分析,提出了一些有益于提高新乡旅游公示语英译质量的建议,以期完善语言交流及人文环境,增强旅游城市的服务形象,更好地专注于对外宣传、经济和文化领域的交流,致力于中国的国际化进程。
Publicity language is a modern city, an international tourist city of language and human environment an important component. Any ambiguity, misunderstanding and abuse of publicity can lead to bad social effects. According to the existing problems in the main tourist attractions of Xinxiang city and English public signs in public places, this paper investigates the situation of English public signs in the main tourist attractions and public places in Xinxiang City. Based on the data analysis of the survey results, some suggestions for improving Xinxiang Tourism Proposal English translation quality recommendations, with a view to improving the language exchange and cultural environment, enhance the service image of tourist cities, to better focus on foreign propaganda, economic and cultural exchanges, is committed to China’s internationalization process.
