丹玉11号玉米杂交种是丹东市农科所用莫17做母本、旅9宽做父本配制的单交种。已被省品种审定会审定,1980～1981年海城县大面积试种,1982年成为该县的主栽品种。1983年由1982年的42万亩猛增到70万亩(占玉米面积的79％),平均亩产1.135斤。4年累计全县种植面积达144.3万亩,比种植沈单3号玉米增产粮食两亿两千多万斤,增加收入三千多万元。
