在人工饲养条件下,观察和研究了广斧螳[Hierodula patellifera(Serville)]的生物学特性。结果表明,广斧螳属于渐变态昆虫。1年完成1个世代。一生经历卵、若虫与成虫3个虫态。在室内通过人工饲养可完成1个世代,且无越冬现象。若虫一般经9~10个龄期后羽化为成虫。雌、雄成虫世代历期分别为352.7 d和299.9 d(P<0.01)。1龄若虫的死亡率最高,为34.40%,6龄若虫的死亡率最低,为0.19%。雌、雄成虫体长之间呈极显著差异,与头壳宽度存在线性关系。线性回归方程分别为y1=3.207+1.013x1与y2=-6.405+1.502x2。
Under artificial feeding conditions, the biological characteristics of Hierodula patellifera (Serville) were observed and studied. The results show that broad-leaved mantis is a gradual insects. 1 year to complete a generation. Life experience eggs, nymphs and adults three insect states. In the indoor artificially raised to complete a generation, and no overwintering phenomenon. Nymphs generally emerge as adults after 9 to 10 instars. The male and female adult generations were 352.7 d and 299.9 d, respectively (P <0.01). The first instar nymphs had the highest mortality rate of 34.40% and the sixth instar nymphs had the lowest mortality rate of 0.19%. There was a significant difference between body length of male and female adults, which had a linear relationship with the width of the head shell. The linear regression equations are y1 = 3.207 + 1.013x1 and y2 = -6.405 + 1.502x2, respectively.
