In order to investigate the relationship between cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and the degree of brain damage and prognosis, CSF-NSE levels in 30 children with brain disorders affected by disturbance of consciousness were measured by radioimmunoassay. Materials and Methods First, the clinical data: 30 cases of acute encephalopathy and acute encephalopathy in children as the research object, 19 males and 11 females, mean age 2.8 years, of which 12 cases of bacterial meningitis, viral encephalitis in 8 cases, Encephalopathy (hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, infectious toxic encephalopathy, etc.) 10 cases. All cases were in the emergency department intensive care unit, in addition to monitoring of physiological indicators, but also observe the coma, pupil changes, blood gas analysis, CSF routine, biochemical and bacterial culture
