The Long March, a term that faded out of our memory, recalls that it was already seventy years ago. Since then, every generation of young people has left their splendor: the strategic shift of the 1930s and the two wars of the 1940s; Oil exploitation in the 1950s: going up the mountain to the countryside in the 1960s: Returning the educated youth in the 1970s; Reform and opening up in the 1980s: developing the western China in the 1990s; and supporting students in Beijing in the new century. I call this event “the long march of the new century.” With a lot of unknown and confused people, I visited the first batch of Wang Zhibin, an undergraduates who supported agriculture. Through his experience, we learned that the work in rural areas is bit by bit and enlightened people who come later.
