The purpose of this article is to use a new and complete concept to study the history of agriculture. This concept organically links agricultural production to sales, distribution, and so on. There are two reasons: First, many scholars engaged in agricultural history confined themselves to agricultural production so that they could not effectively grasp the relationship between agricultural factors and other social factors. The second is that as the status of agriculture becomes more and more relative decline in modern life, especially when researchers isolate agriculture from social and economic life, fewer and fewer scholars are interested in studying agriculture history. Due to his strong input analysis theory founded by Nobel Prize winner Wesley Lyontiff, and especially the influence of Davies and Gordon Berg in their application to agricultural history research, the authors present the concept of a system , Provide a wealth of examples of how to apply the concept of the system in practice and to advise scholars engaged in agricultural history research to follow. In the author’s opinion, not only can we not only write a more accurate history of agriculture, but it will also attract more researchers into the field.
