模因论是一门新兴的理论科学及经验科学,它基于达尔文进化论的观点研究文化发展演变的规律。作为文化传承的重要载体,语言通过不断模仿,进行自我复制和传播,语言本身即是模因。本文梳理了模因论的起步及发展,并针对独立院校英语阅读教学现状进行课堂设计,强调语言学习中联想、背诵以及模仿的重要性,以期为英语阅读教学提供新思路。 Memetics is a new theory and experience science, which studies the law of the evolution of culture based on the Darwinian theory of evolution. As an important carrier of cultural heritage, the language imitates itself and reproduces and spreads itself. The language itself is a meme. This paper reviews the start and development of memetics theory, and designs the classroom for the current situation of English reading teaching in independent colleges. It emphasizes the importance of association, memorization and imitation in language learning so as to provide new ideas for English reading teaching.
