职教护理专业的学生英语基础薄弱,英语整体素质普遍较差,他们中的绝大多数属于各高中后一半的学生,平时没有养成良好的学习习惯,遇到单词、句型、对话等需要背诵的内容,就很容易丧失学习兴趣及信心。大部分学生对英语学科的认识还存在偏差,认为将来从事护理工作,学好专业技能就足够了,英语好坏无所谓。以上原因,导致护理专业生学英语的主动性不足,上课不想听讲也不愿意开口,课堂上总是老师一味的灌输,缺乏有效的互动交流。如何提高学生学习英语的兴趣及热情,充分发挥其主观能动性,是职教英语教学的一个难点。笔者多年从事职校高职护理专业班的英语教学工作,根据自己的教学实践积累,就如何上好英语课,谈一谈自己的看法。 VET students are weak in basic English and generally poor in English.
