职教护理专业的学生英语基础薄弱,英语整体素质普遍较差,他们中的绝大多数属于各高中后一半的学生,平时没有养成良好的学习习惯,遇到单词、句型、对话等需要背诵的内容,就很容易丧失学习兴趣及信心。大部分学生对英语学科的认识还存在偏差,认为将来从事护理工作,学好专业技能就足够了,英语好坏无所谓。以上原因,导致护理专业生学英语的主动性不足,上课不想听讲也不愿意开口,课堂上总是老师一味的灌输,缺乏有效的互动交流。如何提高学生学习英语的兴趣及热情,充分发挥其主观能动性,是职教英语教学的一个难点。笔者多年从事职校高职护理专业班的英语教学工作,根据自己的教学实践积累,就如何上好英语课,谈一谈自己的看法。
VET students are weak in basic English and generally poor in English. Most of them belong to the second half of high school students. Most students still have some misunderstandings on English subjects. They think that nursing work and professional skills will be enough in the future. English does not matter. How to improve students’ interest and enthusiasm in learning English and give full play to their subjective initiative is a difficult point in vocational English teaching. The author for many years engaged in English teaching vocational high vocational nursing classes, according to their own teaching practice, how to improve English classes, talk about their own views.
