摄象管必须在一定的真空和适当的气体成分下工作。对于“硬”真空的摄象管,管内真空度下降,将导致输出图象出现离子斑,光电靶面灵敏度下降,输出信号的信噪比降低,阴极中毒和损伤,管子寿命缩短等。对于“软”真空的摄象管,管内气体成分和真空压强的变化,将使本底电流不足,导致输出图象模糊,或者造成输出图象中离子斑,阴极中毒和损伤,管子寿命缩短等。所以,在摄象管制造过程中,测量封离后摄象管内的真空压强或残余气体压强,对分析摄象管的性能和合理确定工艺规范具有重要意义。
The camera tube must work under a certain vacuum and proper gas composition. For a “hard” vacuum tube, the decrease of vacuum in the tube will lead to the appearance of ion spots in the output image, the decrease of the sensitivity of the photoelectric target, the decrease of the signal-to-noise ratio of the output signal, the poisoning and damage of the cathode, and the shortened tube life. For a “soft” vacuum tube, changes in gas composition and vacuum pressure in the tube will cause insufficient background current, resulting in blurred output images or poisoning and damage of ion spots, cathodes and cathodes in the output image and shortened tube life . Therefore, during the manufacture of the camera tube, measuring the vacuum pressure or residual gas pressure in the camera tube after sealing off is of great significance for analyzing the performance of the camera tube and reasonably determining the process specifications.
