This article seeks to find out the most mysterious and personal themes in Hopper’s paintings that are not only for the author but also for the audience. From the author’s personal experience and potential exposure to various aspects of the environment, such as the history of art, social environment and contemporary American literature, do an investigation and comparison to reveal the hidden themes and the inherent links between the missing and the missing themes in the images.
