1997年,是我省交通取得辉煌成就的又一丰收年。全省交通系统广大干部职工在省委、省政府的领导下,顽强拼搏、克服重重困难,按时完成了省政府年初确立的25件实事中涉及交通的8项工作。按省交通厅部署,在厅政治部组织下开展了评选1997年江苏交通10件大事活动,此次活动共发选票1000张,收回选票990张,投票率达所发选票的99％。广大交通系统干部职工踊跃参加评选,使这一活动获得圆满成功,现根据得票数,将江苏交通1997年10件大事公布如下:
In 1997, it was another bumper harvest year for our province to make brilliant achievements in traffic. Under the leadership of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, cadres and workers in the transportation system throughout the province, overcoming hardships and difficulties, completed on time the eight tasks involved in transportation among the 25 practical tasks established by the provincial government earlier this year. According to the deployment of Provincial Communications Department, 10 events of Jiangsu Traffic in 1997 were conducted under the organization of Department of Political Affairs of the Office. The event issued 1000 ballot papers and 990 ballot papers, accounting for 99% of the votes cast. The majority of transport system cadres and workers enthusiastically participated in the selection to make this event a complete success. According to the number of votes obtained, Jiangsu Communications announced 10 major events in 1997 as follows:
