1991~1994年采用根部土壤接种方法,鉴定了106份玉米自交系和杂交种对茎腐病的抗病性,筛选出抗病材料40份,忻抗1号、掖单13号、晋单29号等7个新品种具有良好的防病增产效果。增施钾肥,特别是氮、磷、钾肥配合施用可提高植株抗病力,减轻病害发生。晚播、稀植均可推迟或减轻发病。应用以抗病品种为主、增施钾肥、适期晚播、适当稀植等农业栽培综合防治措施。在忻州、朔州等地示范推广5.44万hm2,平均防治效果为78.1%,增产11.1%。
