从2002年下半年到2003年6月,国内客车业的几家明星企业金龙、宇通、中大先后面向社会及高校开展了客车设计大赛,大赛内容不仅包括客车车身造型设计、车身图案设计还包括了客车的内饰设计。从设计要求来看,各项设计都需要出众的美学知识,而开展客车设计大赛也反映了我国客车企业对客车美学的注重程度正在加强。大型、豪华、大视野、平滑、一体式外观、抢眼的图案……在过去的几年,美国客车企业遵循着这样的美学设计原则,而接下来,客车的美学设计将何去何从?最新一期的美国客车杂志《BusRide》组织专题,邀请了美国客车业多名专家就客车设计美学的诸多方面展开了讨论
