钢中含铈量较高时,除形成铈的非金属夹杂物以外,还形成铈-铁金属间化合物,它沿品界分布,使钢变脆。本文在实验室条件下制备了含这种金属间化合物的钢样,测定了其中的金属间化合物的组成、光学特征、显微硬度、晶体结构和在某些溶液中电解分离的可能性以及在高温处理时的变化。此外,还对试样中与铈-铁金属间化合物共存的铈的非金属夹杂物进行了鉴定,证明它是固溶了铁的铈氧化物和(Ce,Fe)O_xC_y。 试样用两种方式制备:A试样是采用圆柱状工业纯铁(含氧~0.1%)钻孔,填以纯铈,
In steels with higher cerium content, in addition to the formation of non-metallic inclusions of cerium, cerium-iron intermetallics are also formed, which are distributed along the product line, rendering the steel brittle.
