Objective To observe the effects of electrical stimulation of fastigial nucleus (FNS) on heart rate variability (HRV) in rats with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods 100 adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into AMI group (n = 30), left coronary artery (LCA) group, fastigial nucleus stimulation group (n = 30) The left parietal fastigial nucleus 1h, FNL group (n = 30), the apical cerebellum of the two sides were destroyed with goat ointment, and the FNS group was operated 5 days later. The sham operation group (n = 10) ), Thoracotomy was performed only under LCA without ligation, and the electrode was inserted into the parietal region of the cerebellum without stimulation. Each group was divided into 6h, 1d, 7d and 21d after thoracotomy separately, HRV frequency domain analysis was performed by HRV recording and analysis system in rats. Results After 6 hours of ligation, the frequency-domain analysis of the FNS group showed that the low-frequency components of the FNS group were significantly lower than those of the AMI and FNL groups (P <0.01), and the high-frequency components of the FNS group were significantly higher than those of the other intervention groups Frequency components and the decrease of low-frequency components (P <0.05). After 7 days, only high-frequency power was retained in the sham operation group, and the difference between the intervention groups disappeared. After 21 days, difference. There was no significant difference in HRV parameters between FNL group and AMI group at each time point (P> 0.05). Conclusion Electrical stimulation of cerebellar fastigial nucleus can improve HRV in AMI rats.
