Objective To understand the changes of CD4 + T lymphocyte count and the factors that influence the changes of AIDS patients after antiviral therapy. Methods Since the free anti-virus treatment in Qingdao started in 2005 and ended in February 2012, all 109 adult patients who participated in free antiviral therapy for one year and had good compliance were evaluated from the follow-up management files of AIDS patients in Qingdao and AIDS Comprehensive Data management system "to obtain information, the data in accordance with the level of CD4 + T lymphocytes before treatment, age, gender, marriage and transmission groups. Results After treatment of 109 adult patients for 3 months, the percentage of CD4 + T lymphocytes increased in 87.16% patients. After 6 months and 12 months, CD4 + T lymphocytes before treatment ≤200 and 200 (P <0.05). The increase of CD4 + T lymphocyte counts after 6 months of treatment was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Early treatment can control virus replication in time and prevent the progress of immune injury, which is good for maintaining and reconstructing immune function, thus delaying the progression of the disease. Too late treatment is not conducive to the recovery of immune function.
