The understanding of fairy tales by two literary people, Lu Xun and Guo Moruo, is consistent with that of their Japanese counterparts. That is, “fairy tales” are not only connected with the literary art of the native people, but also are synonymous with children’s literature. They write a few of the fairy tales or point to reality or express their fantasies, both for children and for expressing their anger. Their literary choices - novels that recount myths or historical novels, dramatic productions, and poetry writing are all essentially related to the fairy tales. They completed the return of the arts and searched for the original way of literature in the manner of “fairy tales.”
