Cochlear electrogram is a clinical measure of cochlear electrical output. There are two purposes in clinical use: (1) as an objective test of hearing sensitivity, to test the function of the cochlear and auditory nerve can be satisfactorily measured hearing threshold accuracy. (2) To determine the pathology of abnormal hearing function, as a complete set of neurological otology. As an objective hearing test, this method offers the following advantages over other electro-audiometry audiometers: (1) it is reliable, (2) its response is easy to reproduce, (3) it is less difficult to analyze its results, (4) Contralateral ears do not have to use noise masking, (5) the reaction is not affected by general anesthesia. Therefore, apply to children who can not cooperate check. Cochlear electrogram mapping method used in neurological otology, yet to be further developed. I hope in patients with known lesions, analyze their reactions, accumulate information to develop this therapy. The authors examined 45 patients with acoustic neuroma confirmed by electrocochleography, and reported the preliminary results obtained. Methods Portmann et al. (1967) were used for transanal cochlear implants
