Objective To investigate the correlation between preheated contrast media and contrast-related adverse reactions in CT-enhanced scanning and to provide reference for reducing the incidence of adverse effects of contrast-enhanced imaging. Methods From July 2015 to August 2016, 1786 patients underwent multi-slice spiral CT in a hospital were randomly divided into experimental group (n = 910) and control group (n = 876). The experimental group preheated the contrast medium To 37 ℃ contrast agent injection CT enhanced examination, the control group was treated at room temperature, the incidence of adverse reactions in both groups were compared. Results There were 8 cases of adverse reactions in the experimental group, of which mild, moderate and severe were 6, 2 and 0 respectively, the incidence rate was 0.88% and the drug extravasation was 0 cases. In the control group, there were 26 cases of adverse reactions, The mild, moderate and severe cases were 21,4,1 respectively, the incidence was 2.97% and the drug extravasation was 2 cases. The incidence of experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Preheating the contrast agent to 37 ℃ can significantly reduce the incidence of adverse reactions in CT enhanced scanning and can be widely used in clinical practice.
