明清鼎革之际,归庄从文坛党同伐异的门户之争中挣脱出来,提出“两不幸”的诗论观,强调人品对诗品的定性作用,要求诗歌表现真性情,并认为如果诗歌能“得江山之助”则更佳。归庄的诗学主张,是立足于当时诗坛状况对前人作出的一种历史反思,代表了遗民诗人群体的共同审美趋向,也体现了明中后期狂放疏朗向清初渐次平实的文坛风气的嬗变。
