目前,普通油茶良种的繁殖途径是:一是选定优株,通过子代鉴定,建立种子园,用实生苗造林。二是选优后经过当代鉴定,建立采穗圃,用无性系造林。实践证明,有性繁殖其子代分化变异较大。母树优良而子代植株大部分不能保持与母树相同的优良性状。用无性细胞(如叶芽、根)进行繁殖的后代植株,其优良性状基本能保存下来。为了探讨无性繁殖遗传和变异的关系,我们于一九八三年十月,对地方农家品种零陵红桃1号优树,以及用其枝条嫁接植株的果实性状作了调查,种子的经济性状进行了分析。现将结果整理如下:
