随着多媒体技术和计算机信息技术的发展,传统交际中一直占统治地位的语言模态已受到其他符号模态的挑战,话语世界已呈现多模态特征。单纯的语言文字识读能力已不适应多模态话语的发展,多模态化的外语教学核心思想是培养学习者的多元识读能力。而多元识读能力在外语教学中的研究是近些年才兴起的,研究方面仍处初级阶段,尤其在对多元识读能力培养策略研究方面极为欠缺。本研究将探讨在多模态环境下如何培养学习者的多元识读能力,给外语教学提供一定的指导。研究表明:课堂多模态教学与课外多模态实践的有机结合是培养学习者多元识读能力的有效途径。
With the development of multimedia technology and computer information technology, the language modalities that have always dominated traditional communication have been challenged by other symbolic modalities, and the discourse world has been characterized by multiple modalities. Simple language reading ability has not adapted to the development of multimodal discourse. The core idea of multimodal foreign language teaching is to cultivate learners’ multiple reading ability. However, researches on multi-reading ability in foreign language teaching have only arisen in recent years, and the research is still in its infancy. In particular, there is an extremely lack of research on strategies for training multi-reading abilities. This study will explore how to cultivate learners’ multiple reading ability in multimodal environment and provide some guidance to foreign language teaching. The research shows that the combination of multi-modal teaching in class and multi-modal practice after class is an effective way to cultivate learners’ multiple reading ability.
