夏堃(kūn)堡爷爷是我国第一任国家环境保护局的国际合作司司长,也是第一位联合国环境规划署常驻代表委员会的中国副主席,还是第一个联合国环境署在世界上建立的国家级代表处的首任主任,现在还担任着中华环保联合会理事,加拿大国际可持续发展研究所顾问、国家环境保护总局科技委员会委员等职。
