10多年前的春季,笔者在市场上寻桩,看见一个卖剩下的大榔榆桩坯,桩坯上部臃肿,根基部细瘦,确实是难以造就成材的废桩。然在其下部一侧长有一个细小的副干(图1),其变曲旋转不仅有力度,且柔顺灵动自然,干身皮质斑驳苍劲,富有苍老之态。向上延伸也较匀称协调,曲折的线段,弯曲扭动的弧度及节奏感均胜于人工制作。就这一副干来讲,是个比较难得的小型桩材,我考虑,可否利用它制作一件盆景小品,但其干身上(包括与大桩连接处)既无须根又无粗根,能否成活我没有把握。只能抱着试试看的想
