传统文化中人性论中的性善论、价值观上的群体本位取向、思维方式上的模糊性，在当代反腐败斗争中严重“失职”。具体表现为：基于人性本善的假设，任何制约就不但没有必要而且只能是一种束缚；中国传统的道德观以社会整体名义来压抑、否定个体，被否定了个人利益和需要的个体常常本能地反抗整体，最直接的表现就是缺失社会责任感；模糊性的思维方式，使法律的执行最终未能达到原先设想的效果。
