Objective To investigate and grasp the status quo of air pollution and drinking water pollution in some areas and explore the environmental pathogenic factors to provide a scientific basis for eliminating adverse environmental factors in camps and improving the quality of air and water sources. Methods According to the Technical Specifications for Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Sites (Trial) (HJ 664-2013), Technical Specifications for Manual Monitoring of Ambient Air Quality (HJ / T194-2005) and Standard Test Method for Domestic Drinking Water (GB5750 -2006) samples were collected, processed and analyzed, and the test results were evaluated according to “Ambient Air Quality Standard” (GB3095-2012) and “Drinking Water Hygiene Standard” (GB5749-2006). Results The content of total suspended particulates in individual sites slightly exceeded the national minimum standards. The naked eyes of water sources exceeded the standard, and other indicators met the standards. The analysis of disease spectrum showed that the incidences of digestive and respiratory diseases were all at normal levels. Conclusion The water and air quality in the department are affected to a certain extent, but the health of officers and soldiers has not yet been adversely affected. The future need to establish long-term monitoring mechanism to promptly eliminate pollution risks.
