本文从当代英语教学法和语言习得理论的角度就浙江大学主编的《新编大学英语》系列教材中的第一册和第二册在提高学生听、说、读、写、译五项语言技能方面进行了调查和评估。论文首先对教材内容进行了详细的介绍,然后总结分析了学生对教材的反馈意见。问卷调查的结果表明:多数学生认为该教材在提高阅读和听力方面效果显著;约半数人认为口语和写作有不同程度的提高;少数人认为对翻译能力的培养有一定帮助。最后作者就如何改进教材和教学提出了相关的建议。
This article from the contemporary English pedagogy and language acquisition theory point of view, Zhejiang University, edited “New College English” series of books Volume I and Volume II in improving students listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation of the five languages Skills were investigated and evaluated. First of all, the paper introduces the content of the textbook in detail, and then summarizes and analyzes the students’ feedback on the textbook. The results of the questionnaire survey showed that most of the students thought the textbook had a significant effect in improving reading and hearing; about half believed that oral and writing skills improved to some extent; and a few believed that it would be helpful to the cultivation of translation ability. Finally, the author put forward some suggestions on how to improve teaching materials and teaching.
