Dying Body is the last of Phillip Rose’s Kepsh Trilogy. The novel focuses on the sexual entanglements of university professor David Kepch and his student Cuban girl Conseillah, exposing readers to the sexual open culture in the United States, reflecting on and criticizing the sexual open culture’s impact on the American family and society, It also includes the evolution of family ethics and public ethics in American society and embodies profound ethical and moral guidance. At the same time, as a Jewish writer, Rose inherited the ultimate exploration of the death in the Jewish tradition and portrayed us a game of old age, youth, love and death.
