In 2002, affected by such factors as the upgrading of the consumption structure and the state’s expansionary fiscal policy, China’s macroeconomic showed a good momentum of steady and sustained growth. Its GDP exceeded 10 trillion yuan in the whole year, reaching 10.2398 trillion yuan. Computable prices, an increase of 8% over the previous year, an increase of 0.7 percentage points over 2001.
