Whether or not the satellite can operate normally after being in the sky can be repaired promptly in the event of a fault and depend on the huge and complicated ground measurement and control system. Without precise monitoring and management, the star that launches off will be like a broken “kite.” From the first satellite in China to the spacecraft “Shenzhou” flying twice in space, experts from Xi’an Satellite Monitoring Center make little-known contribution to the world’s measurement and control business in China.
