Objective To investigate the effect of target management on the metabolic parameters in type 2 diabetic patients. Methods Eighty-six patients with diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia discharged more than six months were divided into intervention group and control group according to random number table. On the basis of routine follow-up, the intervention group implemented the goal management. After intervention for 6 months, the changes of blood lipid, blood glucose, blood pressure, body weight and so on were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention for 6 months, the level of LDL in the intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P <0.05), and there was also a significant difference between the two groups in HbA1c level and weight loss level (P <0.05 ). Intervention group, lipid, blood glucose and blood pressure compliance rates were better than the control group. Conclusion The goal of management of type 2 diabetes patients with blood lipid compliance have a significant impact, at the same time beneficial to reduce patient weight and improve blood glucose levels.
