数字图书馆面对着各种各样互联网设备的访问,主要包括桌面计算机设备和移动设备。移动设备通过Web访问互联网中的网站主要使用两种形式——WAP形式和HTTP形式。提供和维护WAP形式的网站对于图书馆来说成本较高,而且后期维护复杂困难。使用自适应网页设计方法可以有效解决该问题——网站基于HTTP协议,使用HTML、CSS和JavaScript技术构建,网页会根据访问设备的屏幕尺寸自动识别并且提供最优的显示效果,从而做到一个网站内容,多种设备显示的全新信息构建,该技术在提高网站使用体验的同时,还节省了大量的人力、物力。
Digital libraries face a variety of Internet access devices, including desktop computer equipment and mobile devices.
