英语教师话语中连词“and”的使用在保证课堂教学环节和过程衔接自然、浑然一体,保证教师话语具有连贯性和逻辑性的方面起着很重要的穿针引线的作用。本文从话语分析的角度,通过自建语料库的方式,对五名来自不同中学的英语教师的课堂话语中连词“and”进行检索和标注,旨在探讨并揭示中学英语教师课堂话语中连词“and”的功能性特征及其重要内涵。研究发现,中学英语教师课堂话语中英语连词“and”的功能性特征包括:拓展功能、衔接功能、构建功能和标记功能,在教师课堂话语中分别起到了补充与引申、体现逻辑—语义关系、构建话语连贯性以及话语过渡的作用。
The use of conjunctions “and ” in English teacher discourse plays a very important role in ensuring the coherence and logicalness of teacher discourse. From the perspective of discourse analysis, this paper searches and marks conjunctions “and ” in the classroom discourse of five English teachers from different secondary schools by means of self-built corpus, in order to explore and reveal the conjunctions “and ” functional features and their important connotations. The study found that the functional characteristics of the English conjunctions “and ” in classroom discourse of middle school teachers include: expanding function, connecting function, constructing function and marking function, respectively supplementing and extending in teachers’ classroom discourse, embodying logic - semantics Relationship, the construction of discourse consistency and the role of discourse transition.
