Lightning protection technology At present, more and more composite materials are used in aircraft design to reduce weight and increase strength. At the same time, digital electronic instrumentation systems have also been applied to aircraft in order to increase the efficiency of flight and engine control. However, the application of the above two technologies makes the aircraft more vulnerable to lightning damage.
