土石混合料往往因为含水量不均、级配不良等缺点,使得压实度不能很好地评价土石混填路堤的压实质量。该文首先在理论分析的基础上建立沉降率与干密度、沉降率与孔隙比的理论公式,通过某高速公路上开展的以沉降率控制的土石混填路堤现场压实试验,分析了不同碾压遍数和不同松铺厚度下土石混填路堤的沉降量、沉降率、干密度和孔隙比的变化规律,探讨了沉降率与干密度、孔隙比之间的关系,并将理论公式的计算值与实测值进行对比分析。结果表明:在碾压遍数和松铺厚度均相同的情况下,碾压后填料的干密度随沉降率的增加而增加,孔隙比随沉降率的增加而减小。因此采用沉降率作为土石混填路堤压实质量控制指标,可以有效地克服土石混合料自身的缺陷,正确评估压实质量。
