作者通过对定语位置上形容词“小”的考察,认识到汉语句法结构对理解和习得汉语具有重要意义。文章包括三个部分：1)“小+典型名词”；2)“小+名词化的形容词或动词”；3)“小+名词”的感情意义(评价意义)。
By examining the adjective “小” at the adverbial position, the author realizes that the Chinese syntactic structure is of great significance for understanding and acquiring Chinese. The article consists of three parts: 1) “small + typical nouns”; 2) “small + nominal adjectives or verbs”; 3) “small + noun” emotional significance (evaluation significance).
