我厂生产的JC036一米刻线机是选用球面蜗杆传动的,因为球面蜗杆能同时与几个蜗轮齿啮合,所以大大地减少了接触应力,能传递大功率,传动平稳性也比一般蜗轮付要好,从而提高了传动精度。球面蜗杆传动是一项大有发展前途的技术,值得推广。但如何精密磨削球面蜗杆是个很值得探讨的工艺问题。球面蜗杆齿面是球面蜗轮齿面的包络曲面,因此要在具有圆周展成运动的机构上进行加工,经反复研究和讨论,决定在我厂一台滚齿机上进行磨削加工。我们的方法是:将磨具和砂轮修整器均安装在光学转台上,转台安装在机床工作台上,将需磨削的球面蜗杆装在滚刀位置上,由工件及台面的组合展成运动来磨削球面蜗杆。图1是需加工的球面蜗杆轴向剖面示意图。图2是ST018滚床加工球面蜗杆的示意图。
