Since the doctoral student Chen Shizhen put forward in 1971 that “Chinese literary tradition is a lyrical tradition as a whole” (1), “the lyrical tradition of Chinese literature”, as a highly theoretical proposition that expounds the effectiveness, has gained sea Universal recognition by academics both inside and outside China. The voices of questioning represented by Gong Pengcheng are also now easing (2). Forty years have passed. How to deepen and enrich this theoretical proposition has become a top priority. Professor Dong Nai-bin and his research team contributed to the field of “Chinese Literary Narrative Tradition Study” (Zhonghua Book Company 2012 edition. Hereinafter referred to as “research”, where quoted from the author are only marked page number), in this context is particularly eye-catching.
