Vascular endothelial growth factor-C (VEGF-C) and vascular endothelial growth factor D (VEGF-D) can induce neoplastic lymphangiogenesis and promote tumor lymphatic metastasis. Antitumor lymphangiogenesis has become a new strategy for cancer treatment. Cervical cancer can occur early pelvic lymph node metastasis, tumor lymphangiogenesis of attention. Studies have shown that VEGF-C and D are associated with lymphangiogenesis and pelvic lymph node metastasis of cervical cancer, with VEGF-C an unfavorable prognostic factor for cervical cancer.
