在欧债危机愈演愈烈的情况下,欧洲一些国家的政局亦随之出现动荡。2011年11月11日,前欧洲央行副行长、著名经济学家帕帕季莫斯出任希腊联合政府总理。时隔两天,另一位资深经济学家马里奥·蒙蒂又被任命为意大利新总理,负责组建过渡政府。蒙蒂是意大利著名的经济学家、社会活动家,曾于1994年至2004年间任欧盟委员会委员,在国际上享有很高的威望。在意大利的债务形势极为严峻之际,“书生”蒙蒂临危受命,作为“应急政府”总理进行组阁,担负起带领意大利走出经济谷底的重任。
As the debt crisis intensified in Europe, the political situation in some European countries also experienced turmoil. November 11, 2011, the former European Central Bank vice president and famous economist Papademus served as the Greek coalition government premier. Two days later, another senior economist, Mario Monti, was again appointed as Italy’s new prime minister, in charge of forming a transitional government. Monti is a famous Italian economist and social activist who served as a member of the European Commission from 1994 to 2004 and enjoys a very high prestige internationally.
