On October 22, 1911 (Xinhua on the first day of September, the New Year), Shaanxi responded to the Wuchang Uprising by establishing a military government in Xi’an, the capital of the provincial capital. Qian Dingansan became the deputy commander of the military government. Prior to the 1911 Revolution in Shaanxi, Qian Ding-san, who had been engaged in revolutionary propaganda and organization among the New Army and the non-party, laid a solid foundation for the revolution. On the eve of the uprising in Shaanxi Province, Qian Ding-yi elaborately planned for the uprising and made an important contribution. After the establishment of the junta, Qian Dingzan regarded the overall interests of the revolution as the most important thing. Regardless of his own personal merits, he volunteered to visit Tongguan and defend the enemy in his own initiative. Eventually, unfortunately, he died in Weinan and gave his heroic dedication to the revolutionary cause.
