The first failure of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) radiation therapy is still localized, and the use of appropriate radiotherapy for patients with local recurrence may improve both local control and survival. The author retrospectively analyzed 535 cases of NSCLC with local recurrence after radiotherapy admitted from January 1992 to January 1998 in our hospital, of which 1 59 cases underwent second-line radiosurgery.
