四川成都出口加工区位于国家级成都高新技术产业开发区,规划面积3平方公里,2000年4月27日由国务院批准设立,是中国西部地区首家封关运行的出口加工区。截至2006年底,四川成都出口加工区共批准30家企业入区,其中外商投资企业23家;引进投资总额15.6亿美元,在全国58个出口加工区中排名第5,已经成为西部“特区”。在成都出口加工区成立七周年之际,我们特邀有关人士对“特区”的建设与发展进行座谈。
Chengdu Export Processing Zone is located in the state-level Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone with a planned area of 3 km2. It was approved by the State Council on April 27, 2000 and is the first export processing zone to be closed in western China. By the end of 2006, a total of 30 enterprises had been approved to enter the zone in Chengdu’s Export Processing Zone in Sichuan, including 23 foreign-invested enterprises. The total investment in the country was 1.56 billion U.S. dollars, ranking the fifth among the 58 export processing zones in the country and becoming the “ ”. On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the establishment of the Export Processing Zone in the People’s Republic of China, we invited relevant persons to hold informal discussions on the construction and development of the “special zone.”
