语言教学和学习与科技发展息息相关。每一项新的通讯科技的出现都会带动语言教学的变革。以计算机为代表的数字技术的出现对语言教学和学习的影响前所未有。随着全球化的发展及中国在世界上的经济、政治地位的提高,中文及中国文化在世界上受欢迎的程度越来越高。然而,由于汉语和英语两种语言以及中西文化之间的巨大差异,学好中文对英语为母语的汉语学习者(Chinese as a foreign language,下文称CFL学习者)来说,是一个巨大的挑战。CFL学习者需要克服的最大障碍之一就是汉语词汇学习。传统的汉字词汇教学和学习方法既费时又低效,对CFL学习者的进步和信心常常有不利的影响。以计算机为代表的数字技术对汉语词汇的教学和学习提供了更多、更有效的手段,从而对促进中文和中国文化的普及提供了前所未有的契机。本文介绍了在数字技术背景下对外汉语教学中汉字教学革新的必要性及结合数字科技有效地提高汉字教学和学习的方法。作者期望本文能达到抛砖引玉的效果,引起对外汉语工作者对汉字词汇教学更多的关注和研究。
Language teaching and learning are closely linked with the development of science and technology. The emergence of every new communication technology will lead to the change of language teaching. The emergence of digital technology represented by computers has had an unprecedented impact on language teaching and learning. With the development of globalization and the improvement of China’s economic and political status in the world, Chinese and Chinese cultures are becoming more popular in the world. However, due to the huge differences between Chinese and English and between Chinese and Western cultures, learning Chinese well is a huge challenge for English-speaking Chinese learners (CFL learners). One of the biggest obstacles CFL learners need to overcome is Chinese vocabulary learning. Traditional Chinese vocabulary teaching and learning methods are both time-consuming and inefficient, often negatively affecting the progress and confidence of CFL learners. The digital technology represented by computer has provided more effective and effective means to teaching and learning Chinese vocabulary, thus providing an unprecedented opportunity to promote the popularization of Chinese and Chinese culture. This paper introduces the necessity of teaching innovation of Chinese characters in teaching Chinese as a foreign language under the background of digital technology and the method of digital technology to effectively improve the teaching and learning of Chinese characters. The author hopes that this article can achieve the goal of attracting more scholars and attract more attention and research on Chinese vocabulary teaching by foreigners.
