This paper introduces the scheme demonstration and design and construction of geogrid for treating soft foundation in Changshang Grade I Highway. It shows that the use of geogrid can effectively improve the physical and mechanical properties of the soil. The treatment of low-fill road sections in highway engineering is 3m ~ 5m deep, and the effect of large-area soft foundation is significant
