学习模式与学习策略为基础的教学方法(Styles-and Strategies-based Instruction,以下简称SSBI)是近20年来广为人知的语言教学手段。虽然有的英语教师已经在下意识地将学习策略融入到课堂教学中了,但是还没有系统地将这些可行有效的策略教予学生,这可能会导致一个不均衡发展的班级。因此,此综述的目的是要通过对SSBI的必然性和有效性的探讨来辅助英语教师们帮助他们的学生建立起运用适合自己的学习策略的意识和自主学习的责任感。作者通过对国外有关SSBI的代表文献与调研成果的回顾,探索了SSBI实施的必然性。同时,考虑到文化对二语习得的影响,作者对跨文化语言学习环境下SSBI或策略运用的相关文献也进行了回顾分析,从而验证SSBI的有效性。
Styles-and Strategies-based Instruction (SSBI) is a well-known language teaching tool for nearly two decades. Although some English teachers have subconsciously integrated learning strategies into classroom teaching, they have not systematically taught students these viable strategies, which may lead to an unbalanced development. Therefore, the purpose of this review is to help English teachers help their students to establish their sense of responsibility and autonomous learning by adapting themselves to their learning strategies by exploring the necessity and effectiveness of SSBI. The author explores the inevitability of the implementation of SSBI through the review of the representative literature and research findings of foreign SSBI. At the same time, considering the influence of culture on second language acquisition, the author reviews the related literature of SSBI or strategy utilization in intercultural language learning environment to verify the validity of SSBI.
