三峡枢纽运行中后期,上游引航道隔流堤将永久船闸和升船机的航道包括在内(即大包方案)为技术设计专题研究论证的优选方案。在此基础上提出了船闸从堤外取水的设想,从而可以较好地解决堤内往复流和水位波动、航道内淤积等航运的关键技术问题。流态试验的结果表明,如将三期纵向围堰加高到148米高程,右电厂直接从围堰右侧进水,则能明显地改善坝前的流态,对保证枢纽的过流能力和增加发电量都有重要意义。
