长期以来,一般认为苏南太湖一带正断层是高角度的,在剖面上组合成地垒、地堑或阶梯状断层。但是,1978年以来,在指导学生实习中,笔者先后在太湖西边湖滏、白泥场及太湖东边的东山半岛等地陆续发现了一些东西走向和北东走向的低角度正断层,从而解释了一些用高角度正断层所解释不了的地质问题。低角度正断层的发现,查明其变化特征及成因,对于合理布置勘探工程,正确评价煤矿
For a long time, it is generally believed that the normal faults in the Taihu Lake area in the south of Jiangsu Province are of high-angle, and they are combined into basements, graben or step faults in the profile.
