以余英时先生为代表的一些学者认为,儒学存在内在矛盾并引发由“尊德性”向“道问学”及由理学向考据学的转向,焦竑的思想即此矛盾与转向的体现和象征。基于对焦竑思想的考察和对理学背景中“尊德性而道问学”问题的分析,可发现这些学者对焦竑与儒学自身均存在误读。所谓焦竑思想中的内在矛盾及儒学的内在矛盾实不存在,转向说藉以立论的基础存在理论缺陷,相应的内在理路说也因自身的内在矛盾而难以成立。
Some scholars, represented by Mr. Yu Yingshi, believe that the inherent contradictions in Confucianism lead to the transition from “morality” to “Taoism” and from the science of Confucianism to textual criticism.
