古那生于西藏刚刚和平解放的1960年,贫穷落后在幼小的古那心里留下了难忘的记忆。从小他便立志要让西藏人民尽快过上好日子。1973年,13岁他就参加工作,开始用革命知识武装自己的头脑,为人民服务。1974年他参加了那曲地区第一次麻风培训班,从此,开始25年如一日的麻风防治工作。麻风,藏语称“龙耐”,1400多年前在西藏已有流行。解放后,党和政府非常重视麻防工作,那曲地区的麻风患病率已由最高(1974)的0.5‰降至(1994)0.006‰以下,1996年通过了基本消灭麻风的验收,至今未再发现新病例。
Koo was born in 1960 in Tibet, just peaceful liberation, the impoverished backward in the young Kuna that left a memorable memory.
